GOING BACK : HISTORY OF FELLA SOHO

Having opened up in Soho a year ago here’s a little history about our shop on Kingly Street. It’s been a barber shop since the late 1800’s, that’s a lot of hair that’s hit the floor and a lot of style’s to of walked out of it.

Fella owner Bobby worked at this exact spot 10 years before relocating to Kent to create Fella in Canterbury, so when former owner of Mod-famed Barbers Point Sue Brady, who had run the shop for nearly 40 years decided to sell up, it really was written in the script for Bobby to return to his Soho roots.

This also marked the first partnership within the Fella family as former manager of the Folkestone shop Alex Wakefield, became a director of Fella Soho.

We are super proud and excited to uphold the long barber shop history of 7 Kingly Street and to be part of this vibrant community of Soho.

LISTEN UP : DURAND JONES & THE INDICATIONS
Equally beloved for their energetic, joyous shows, dual lead singers, and thoughtful songwriting these guys have pushed beyond the boundaries of the funk and soul on their previous releases. The Indications' third album, Private Space, unlocks the door to a wider range of sounds and launches boldly into a world of synth, modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings.
