Dear Weaver Lake Elementary School Families,

We hope the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 is treating your family well. We have a few updates for January we would like to share with you. 

Our January General PTO meeting has changed to January 9th - same place and time.  Please watch for the meeting link if you want to join us remotely as we get closer to the meeting day. 

In the spring, we will have three board positions opening up. If you are curious about the various officer roles and would like to "shadow" a current board member to see what the responsibilities are, please email: officers@weaverlakepto.org

Join us for our Dine 2 Donate event on Wednesday, January 18th at Nautical Bowls near Maple Grove Hospital. Funds raised from this event will be used for classroom supplies, field trips, and additional programming, such as our Artists in Residency program.

Grab a few friends from 4:30-6:30pm and join us for our first Play 2 Donate event on Thursday, January 5th at Sky Zone in Maple Grove. Mention Weaver Lake Elementary when you purchase your admission and 20% will be donated to Weaver Lake Elementary PTO.

• From January 3-20, the PTO will be accepting donations of
  any gently used Weaver Wear that you no longer want. Please
  make sure your donations are washed and do not have any
  stains, holes, or rips. Youth and adult sizes are welcome!
• There will be a large drop off box inside of the
  main entrance to the school where you or your
  student can drop off items.
• Once the items have been sorted and
  catalogued, they will be distributed to
  WLE students/staff who would like some
  Weaver Wear but do not have any.

• January 3-20 - Weaver Wear Project, drop off your donated Weaver Wear at school.
• January 5 - Play 2 Donate - Skyzone, Maple Grove 4:30-6:30pm
• January 9 - PTO Meeting - 7pm Media Center & Google Meet
• January 18th - Dine 2 Donate - Nautical Bowls, 15609 Grove Circle North, Maple Grove, MN 55369 9 am - 7pm
• February 1-28 - Read A Thon
