AST Athlete Journal: Zoe Gray

Howdy everyone!!! Hope you had the happiest of holidays!

My name is Zoe Gray and this is my first year on the Alberta Alpine Women's team! I grew up in Panorama, BC, and skied for those blue jacket racers every since I could click into bindings. Growing up, all my siblings skied so I quickly found the love for it too. By the time I was 8 my parents were already hearing about my World Cup dreams and my love for skiing hasn’t changed. I am so excited for this season and I'm so lucky to have such an amazing group of girls to call my teammates! Read more.

Mental Performance Sessions and Registration

Alberta Alpine in conjunction with CSI (Canadian Sport Institute, Calgary) is pleased to present age specific mental performance series to our membership. The series will focus on an often overlooked but extremely important aspect of our sport; how the brain works and what we can do to train our brain. The sessions will focus on the basics of mental performance, performance for training, and performance for competition. These sessions are offered at a reduced cost to athletes as a subsidized initiative by Alberta Alpine. All sessions will be offered on zoom, both FIS and U16 age groups are a 3 part series, U14’s are a 2 part series, and U12’s have a introduction to the basics. Don’t wait to register as sessions start soon! More information and registration.
