The Sunday is the 2nd in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading John the Baptist proclaims Jesus as the Lamb of God, words we hear at every mass when the priest holds up the Sacred Host, inviting us to Holy Communion.  Click here for the scripture readings. 

Moorfields Eye Hospital
On Sunday, the developers of the new hospital to be built next to Old S. Pancras will join us for coffee after Mass to share what is happening and to answer questions.

Old S.Pancras Church Supper
Saturday 21st January 6pm An evening in church to be together in the dark days of January. A hot meal will be served, please bring your own drinks. There is no charge to come but please book your place on the sign up sheet after mass. DEADLINE FOR BOOKING IS THIS SUNDAY!

Winter Night Shelter for the Homeless
From the 22nd January until the end of March, the parish will be participating in a Camden-wide project with other churches to help the homeless. If you are able to volunteer to prepare supper or breakfast, make beds or sleep overnight at the shelter, please speak to Jonathan for details.

Corsican Sunday
On Sunday 29th January, our Corsican friends will be joining us for their annual celebration of Filippo Antonio Pasquale de’ Paoli (1725-1807), the Corsican leader who was buried in our churchyard. After Mass there will traditional Corsican refreshments.

Cinema Club

Pat Clift RIP

Pat’s body will be received into church at 3.30pm on 1st February. The church will remain open for prayer until 5pm and she will rest here overnight. Her funeral Mass will be the next morning, Thursday 2nd February at 10.30am. Donations in Pat’s memory to the Motor Neurone Disease Association mndassociation.org/get-involved/donations/

Kristian Hewett
Our former pastoral assistant Kristian Hewett will be ordained a C of E priest in The Church of the Good Shepherd, Cambridge, on 4th February at 10.30am. Please pray for him and his wife Laura.
