DEVOTIONAL FOLLOW THE LEADER
How difficult is it to play the game “follow the leader?”
You would more than likely say it’s not at all. Especially when it is played for a certain length of time, most of us will do it without any reservation. However, what if I told you that following the leader would last one whole day? How willing would you be to do it? Maybe some would be fine... what about one week? We may have everyone drop out. What we find is that there is no issue with the game for an hour or a measurable time frame, but the problem comes in when it is expected beyond our reasonable time frame.
Can you see how this may influence our thinking and walk with Christ? We should challenge ourselves and ask, are we doing the same to Christ? Are we following the leader (Jesus) in time frames? Have we placed limits on God?
