The City of Light
What could be more exciting than a trip to Paris during the World Cup, the world’s most widely followed sporting event?  And, if you grew up in soccer-crazed Egypt with a mom who taught French, the appeal of the City of Light would be even stronger. That was the situation for Nader Wadie in 1998...

Nader now admits the 1998 trip was motivated more by the chance to see Paris and experience the World Cup than by the opportunity to share Jesus’ love.  By the time he left, however, he had helped 12 individuals profess commitments to Christ, and his life had been radically changed.  

This is an excerpt from a cover story on the current president of Bridges International. The City of Light played a big role in Nader’s relationship with Jesus. We had the opportunity to meet him and take his photographs for their Annual Report last year.

Prayer & Updates

We have two recordings in our studio this month. Pray for the production of the women’s series.

We will be attending a conference in Spain to reflect, rest, and worship with other International staff. It’s been 11 years since the last time we attended, so we’re looking forward to seeing many of our friends and coworkers from Europe and the United States.
