Hi <<First Name>>,

Ten Things This Week

1. “Flourish” is underway! If you missed the first message this past weekend, I hope you’ll catch up online and be ready for the next message this coming weekend.

2. A great way to prime your heart for the message is to read and pray through Isaiah 45:8 in preparation for this weekend.

3. Speaking of this coming weekend, there will be a small portion of the message that we can’t post online due to ever-changing regulations in cyber-space. You’ll just have to be there.

4. Thanks for praying for our Branch Youth Winter Retreat this past weekend! I’m so thankful we have so many students seeking to take Jesus seriously in their lives, and such great adult sponsors to journey alongside them.

5. A few times a year, we have a Branch Family Night of Worship. The first for 2023 one is TONIGHT at 6:30 pm at the Vista Ridge campus! I’ll see you there!

6. This past weekend, a woman came to worship in our services for the second time. She first visited on New Year’s Day. One of our sisters at the FB campus saw the woman sitting by herself and invited her to sit with her and her family. In the course of visiting with her, the newcomer shared that she had worshiped with us online for more than a year before walking into the building.

7. I’m grateful for our online service and the team that puts it together every week. I’m also grateful there was hospitality shown to the woman when she finally did cross the threshold of one of our campuses. God is at work.

8. Occasionally, I get questions about ways to access our weekly sermons at The Branch. Of course, you can get to them and the sermon library through our Branch App or thebranch.org/sermons. You can also find them through our weekly sermon podcast on these platforms: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Podcasts

9. Dads and daughters are getting ready for the Winter Ball Daddy Daughter Dance next Friday night, January 20 at the Farmers Branch campus! What a great opportunity to make some memories! Register here.

10. This past Monday night – ouch! But then again, TCU did score seven more points than Alabama did this year in the national championship.

See you Thursday night or Sunday morning!

Let’s Flourish!

Chris
