Calling all New Members

If you are a new member of Placerville Arts and joined in 2022 or 2023 for the first time, please join us at our March 20 Member Meeting at the Senior Center.  We are planning time in the meeting for you to tell us a bit about you and your art.  We'd love a one to two minute introduction.  Bring art to share if you like.
Memberships due January 1, 2023.
Please renew or join to access member benefits and to continue receiving the newsletter.
Your membership dues are vital to PAA and are due January of each year. Dues cover expenses which include, for example, renting space for monthly meetings, program presenters, offering member shows, paying show judges and insurance.
Annual membership is for the calendar year, January 1 to December 31. Dues for individuals are $35 and $60 for couples. New members may join any time during the year.
Go directly to the PAA website to renew and join via the internet. Click here or go to https://www.placervillearts.com/join. Here you will have a choice to mail your membership form or complete it online. Please do not send a check without the form. We need the form to verify your contact information.

Congrats to Carolyn Cunningham for her Best in Show, "Two Turtles", at the Rancho Cordova show, "It's So Black and White". You can see the whole show at the Rancho Cordova City Hall,
Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm.

Carolyn's art, The Faces of Euclid Avenue, also earned Best of Show in November 2022  at the Chaffey Community Museum of Art annual member show.  The museum is located in Ontario, California, where Carolyn has remained a member even after moving to Placerville in 2020.  Very old pepper trees line the large center median along Ontario's main street and many of them appear to have faces.  There are at least 25 represented in this 8" x 20" ink drawing titled The Faces of Euclid Avenue.
