The days are getting a bit longer every day, can you feel it?
Here at Ekone, that means planning for summer camp is in full swing! We're talking to our summer staff, lining up awesome sessions, shopping for one more fabulous camp horse, and sorting out all the administrative details that ensure a smooth season.
Michelle Sager has officially taken the Program Director reins from Caitlin Jones, and we're so excited for the perspective, experience, enthusiasm, and extreme competence that she's bringing to this (very big) role.
Camp applications will open on February 1, assuming no technical glitches! Watch your email for the announcement, and don't panic ~ our system is not first-come, first-serve. We'll collect applications until February 15 and then begin placing campers in sessions. And we're offering more sessions this year, in hopes of fitting every kid who wants to come to Ekone. ♥

June 18-23 (Sun-Fri, 5 nights)
Horse Connection Camp ~ Ages: 13-18 For the most horse-crazy kids to deepen their connection to and care for Ekone horses ~ a full immersion with Jenna, the most horse-crazy of all!
Lizard McGizzard Camp ~ Ages: 10-14 Embrace danger, put safety first, and find the FUN in everything with Ekone's own Liz(ard) and all the rad ranch skills, projects, games, and adventures!
July 1-7 (Sat-Fri, 6 nights)
Classic Horse Camp ~ Ages: 10-18 Riding lessons, trail rides, ranch projects, crafting, swimming, secret pals, games, hikes, and adventures, all the classic camp fun!
Service & Leadership Intensive(formerly Youth Volunteers!)~ Ages: 14-18 This intensive program is a great way for experienced Ekone teens to take on a new level of independence and leadership.
July 9-14 (Sun-Fri, 5 nights)
Art & Ponies Camp ~ Ages: 8-13 For campers who are torn between the craft area and the corral, an art and crafting camp that will include time with our pony pals!
July 16-21 (Sun-Fri, 5 nights)
Young Rider Camp ~ Ages: 8-11 This session is designed for our younger campers looking for an introduction to horsemanship and ranch life.
Music Camp ~ Ages: 10-16 Let yourself be inspired by Ekone magic to write, sing and play to your heart's content! No musical experience required!
July 23-29 (Sun-Sat, 6 nights)
Wrangler Camp ~ Ages: 13-18 This is horses with a side of summer camp, packed with horse riding, horse care, horse chores, horse projects, and horse dreams at night.
Ranch Camp ~ Ages: 12-18 Designed for teens who get really excited about gaining new practical skills and having adventures like using power tools, driving the tractor, and bucking hay.
July 31-August 6 (Mon-Sun, 6 nights)
