Annual Congregation Meeting will be held on 1/22/23 with snow date of 1/29/23.

Please also join us for a time to say thank you and express our gratitude to Pastor Michael for his time as interim Pastor of St. Mark at the time of our meeting. We are so grateful and appreciative of his service during our Pastoral Vacancy. Pastor Michael you will be missed, we loved your sermons and sense of humor with your no nonsense approach! We will miss the gifts you have shared with us over the last year.

Dear St. Mark:

We have created some Cottage Meetings to provide intimate, small gatherings for people to meet with Pastor Linnea. We are limiting the sessions to 8 people so that enough time is allotted for each group. The sign up sheets are at church, but you may also contact Robin at the office to schedule your session. Please email Robin at admin@stmarkhamilton.org or call her at 609-585-7087, Tuesday through Thursday. Here are the dates we have finalized:

  • Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at church (this is right after the morning bible study)
  • Sunday, February 12, 2023, after service in the Fellowship Hall
  • Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 7 p.m. at church (after Wednesday evening worship)
  • Monday, March 6, 2023, at 7 p.m. on ZOOM

If you are interested in hosting a Cottage Meeting, please feel free to reach out to Robin to discuss possibilities. You may have something at your home, out for coffee, etc. We look forward to these meetings and hope it will help with our transition.

Blessings,

Robin Harris

SOCIAL MINISTRY
"LUNCHES WITH LOVE"
Each week we supply a minimum of 50 bag lunches to HomeFront families. The lunches are packed on Sunday mornings, AFTER the 9:30 AM service. We've got it down to a science so it only takes about 30 minutes! It's a great way to enjoy some fellowship time while doing God's work.

You can support these lunch ministries by making a financial donation to St Mark Lutheran with (note the new wording!) "Lunches w/Love" on the memo line OR by donating any of the following single-serve items:
  • snacks -chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc.
  • fruit cups
  • water bottles
  • juice boxes
If you can help pack lunches or make one of the 2 weekly deliveries, please CONTACT:  Karen Breninghouse.

Please drop off ALL food items on the table in fellowship hall. If you have a building key you can drop off donations at any time. Otherwise, to schedule a time to deliver or have donations picked up from your home, please contact Karen Breninghouse or call the church office at 609-585-7087.
SOCIAL MINISTRY
"DINNERS WITH LOVE"
Each month, on the second Wednesday, we will prepare a meal in the church kitchen and deliver it by 6 pm to the HomeFront tutoring program located at the Lawrence Community Center. Anyone interested in helping with this ministry should contact Karen Breninghouse as it will be an ongoing, monthly project.

NEXT DATE: Wednesday, February 8
ITEMS NEEDED for Dinners with Love:
  • Bottles of water, juice or iced tea
  • sturdy paper plates
  • plastic utensils (forks, spoons & knives)
  • plastic cups
  • monetary donations to purchase perishable foods
Please drop off ALL food items on the table in fellowship hall. If you have a building key you can drop off donations at any time. Otherwise, to schedule a time to deliver or have donations picked up from your home, please contact Karen Breninghouse or call the church office at 609-585-7087.
SOCIAL MINISTRY
