Dear partners and innovators,

Happy 2023! In this time of resolutions and renewed courage, we hand the microphone over to Stephanie Ogilvie Seagle, our Communications Director who first worked with the Lab in 2019 as a community college staffer in Virginia. She writes about the importance of storytelling to lead change ... and how she involved her entire campus in the design journey.

But most importantly, Stephanie condensed the storytelling insights from some of YOU. During two Lab convenings in 2022, she asked some 30 community college innovators: How do you share information internally at the college? What is most effective?

Here's what they said ...

How to share the design journey — and lead change — within your college

Sharing photos from conferences is storytelling, too. We pulled together some good examples ahead of the spring conference season. Follow this checklist to instantly improve your LinkedIn posts and make your experiences — and thought leadership — more visible.

Video podcast

The Lab is planning to launch a video podcast early this year! We've been busy testing the equipment by interviewing ourselves first ... but our mission is to share the success stories and challenges directly from our partners.

Here's a sneak peek featuring Ayanna Conway, Lab Social Media + Community Specialist (and podcast producer), and Leslie Daugherty, our Head of Design Programs, who will share tips on how to be a great podcast guest.

Coming soon

On Wednesday, Jan. 25, the T3 Innovation Network and the Lab will launch Experience You.

Experience You seeks to galvanize a community of data and technology vendors and researchers in developing AI tools to quickly and accurately translate past education, work, and life experience into structured, machine-actionable data in the form of a useable LER (learning and employment records).

Join us during our virtual launch event to learn more about the initiative and how you can participate.
