BikeLNK is gearing up for an epic 2023 - it is going to be a good one! And more than anything, we want you and yours to be a part of it. Our bikes are approaching five (that's FIVE!) years on Lincoln's streets. Over the course of the year we'll celebrate some notable milestones for our capital city bike share program, and share all our exciting announcements here and across social media.

BikeLNK is excited to announce BikeLNK members will have the opportunity to ride
an FHU-branded bike for another 2 years!

Felsburg, Holt & Ullevig specializes in delivering transportation and environmental services built on innovation, consensus building, and cost effectiveness. FHU has a great new office space in Lincoln's Telegraph District (with BikeLNK stations not far away) and we're excited to see all they do in the years ahead - in Lincoln and beyond! Be sure to take a photo the next time you're riding the FHU bike and share using #bikelnk!

2022 Year in Review

BikeLNK had another busy year supporting bike share rides in Lincoln. For 2022, BikeLNK users made a grand total of...

36,500 bike share trips!

This was a 3.0% increase in overall bike share trips compared to 2021. Each bike trip represents more time spent enjoying Lincoln on two wheels - whether that's riding our fantastic trails or traversing downtown's streets and bike lanes. (See BikeLNK's 2022 monthly trip totals below!)

Looking for even more impact from BikeLNK's rides this past year? Check out these stellar facts about BikeLNK trips in 2022:

90,310 miles traveled - enough miles to circumnavigate the earth 3 times!
85,000 lbs. estimated carbon offset versus if traveled by personal motor vehicle!
910,000 ride time minutes - that's 632 days worth of continuous riding!
3.5 million calories burned - the equivalent of 25,000 cans of soda!

BikeLNK is operated on behalf of the City of Lincoln by ROAM.

ROAM is a 501c3 nonprofit that exists for the development, promotion, and operation of bike sharing programs throughout the Heartland region for the benefit of the general public, aimed at promoting health and quality of life as well as mitigating climate change and promoting the use of sustainable and equitable forms of transportation.
