It’s not too late to register for Part 2 of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2022 (VAWA 2022) National Fair Housing Forum series. This month’s forum panel will highlight how VAWA 2022 rules have strengthened survivors’ legal protections and improved their access to resources.

In this forum, you can expect to learn about:

  • VAWA’s housing protections and remedies for survivors
  • HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity's (FHEO) new enforcement authority, including complaint filing and investigative processes under VAWA
  • Common VAWA legal issues and scenarios
  • Resources to consider when working with survivors

Who should attend?

Are you affiliated with HUD-funded fair housing organizations, fair housing partners (e.g., legal service providers and civil rights advocates)? Are you involved in housing, advocacy, survivor services, mental health services, or law enforcement? If so, this forum is right for you!
