A message from the Manager

Happy New Year to all the wonderful supporters of Warrnambool & District Community Hospice. As I reflect on what we achieved in 2022 and plan for the year ahead, I am filled with gratitude for our volunteers, donors, and those who help spread the word about our free community service. Thanks to their hard work, generosity, and advocacy, and surge in new referrals, we were able to support over 20 families throughout the holiday season.

We expect demand for Hospice in the Home to remain high in 2023 and look forward to helping more local people spend their final days in the comfort of home. We are also eager to welcome a new group of volunteers in early February. This will be the twelfth group to have undertaken the Hospice in the Home Volunteer training program and will take our total number of active volunteers to over 80 people.

Thank you to our supporters

A big thank you to all our supporters who contributed to our fundraising efforts in the lead up tp Christmas. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and will ensure more local people experience the comfort of home, family, and friends in their final days.
