DIBELS testing is taking place this week for grades k-6
Iowa Assessment Testing will take place the week of Jan. 23-27, for students in grades 1st - 8th.

Dress Warm! January weather can be unpredictable. Students are required to go outside for recess if the “feels like” temperature is 10 degrees or above. Students will have to stay on the cement unless they have boots to play in the snow/melting wet ground. It is also good for them to have snow gloves and pants and maybe an extra pair of socks. Items may stay at school for the week if they do not need them at home.

Mrs. Ansley is looking for willing and able volunteers to sew some Dutch uniforms for marching band. Our band doubled in size this year! We will need shirts (harder) and pants (easy) made by April. If you have the sewing skills and time available, please contact Mrs. Ansley at cansley@sullychristian.org.

STO update from Joel Groenenboom - We have one more reason to rejoice today, the final tally on last year's STO collection is in. Even though we didn't hit our goal, we didn't miss it very far. Our goal was to collect $551,193.33, we collected $544,507.78, a short fall of only $6,685.55. I would like to say Thank You to all of you who made donations, asked for donations, made calls to individuals, and prayed for this program. Most of all let us all take time to thank God for his grace and providence throughout this process. We took time to ask him for help so now let us acknowledge Him for the help that he gave.

Sully Christian School is seeking a Full-Time Head Cook for the 2023-2024 school year. With the option to come on as a part-time cook this second semester and train alongside Sheila to finish out this school year. The full-time position is approximately 5 hours per day/25 hours weekly, with the average hours being from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This person would not work on days school is not in session.
