Dear <<First Name *>>,
As you know, the Fulbright Association is awarding the Fulbright Prize to Drs. Anthony Fauci and Kizzmekia Corbett on April 19. We want to recognize their extraordinary accomplishments and, by extension, everyone in medicine and research who have fought COVID-19.
I am writing because you’re both a supporter of the Fulbright Program and a medical professional, and I need your help. The Prize advances our shared mission in many ways—honoring those who promote a better world, raising the Fulbright’s profile among key members of Congress, and more. It also helps raise funds for our programs.
Please take a look at the Prize website (https://fulbright.org/programs/prize/) and consider who in your network—a hospital system, practice, medical school, medical company, individual—might be interested in sponsoring and attending the Prize event. I am not asking for your personal support, though that is welcome. (We just opened tickets sales, and you can also buy a table—visit the website for details.) Rather, I hope you can connect the Association with institutions and individuals that might sponsor.
Please note that sponsorships vary in cost and benefits, so we can accommodate the help of anyone who wants to be involved, enjoy a great evening, contribute to a worthy cause, and benefit from networking with members of Congress, diplomats, and so many others.
Let me know. Our team is happy to follow leads or support you in any way (prize@fulbright.org). With your help, the Association can continue to harness the power of Fulbright to make the world a better place. Thank you so much and all the best for a happy 2023.
Best,
John
