Re-Enrollment Deadline Passed, Late Fees Now In Effect:

Registration for the 2022-2023 4-H Year is now open! We’re so excited to have you back! 😊

4HOnline 2.0 is mobile friendly and is super easy to use. Some Safari browsers and some older iPhones might experience problems but 90% of folks should have no issues. DO NOT USE any Microsoft Browsers (Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge) We would recommend using Chrome.

DEADLINES:
  • The Re-enrollment deadline for current members for the 2022-2023 4-H year was December 1, 2022. Returning members are still welcome to re-enroll, but will need to pay a $20 late fee.
  • The new member enrollment deadline is still February 1, 2023
  • The project add/drop deadline is still March 1, 2023.  Please do not wait until the last minute to start the re-enrollment process. If there are issues, it is vital that you discover them sooner than later so that we can fix them.
PROJECT LIMIT:
Per Pueblo County Policies, the project limit for members is 3. If your child plans to enroll in more than three projects, they must send an email to Jen with a description for how they plan to complete all of their projects.  Your enrollment cannot be approved until this letter is received.

FEES:
Member fees are $30 and Cloverbud Fees are $20. Talk to your club leader about their process for fee payment. Some club leaders want you to pay them, and then they’ll bring in the fees. Some club leaders want you to bring in your payment to the office. The office accepts Cash or Checks, and Checks should be made payable to “Pueblo County Extension Program Fund.”

All membership fees were DUE into the Extension Office AT CLOSE OF BUSINESS On December 1, 2022. If your Club requires extra fees/dues, these must be paid to your 4-H leader. Please do not include them in your 4-H Enrollment Payment to the office.

Returning Members and Cloverbuds are still welcome to re-enroll. In addition to the membership fees listed above, each returning Member or Cloverbud must now also pay a $20 late fee. Returning Members and Cloverbuds can re-enroll with the late fee up until the new Member deadline of February 1, 2023.

To be FULLY ENROLLED, 4-H members must be enrolled in 4HOnline and their membership fees paid.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:
The new version requires adult volunteers to have a birthdate in their profile. If you have been a volunteer for a long while, your profile might not include one. Please review your record for accuracy including; birthdate, club, volunteer type and projects.

EXTRA HELP WITH ENROLLMENT:
If you need help or want to come into the office to enroll, please call to SET UP AN APPOINTMENT and I will be happy to help. Please do not wait until the last minute to re-enroll. We are not responsible for any technical issues you might have. 😊

If you have any other questions please call our office at 719-583-6566.

We can’t wait to have you for another awesome 4-H Year!
Project Add/Drop Deadline Approaching:

The deadline to add or drop projects is 5:00 PM on March 1, 2023. Please view the image for instructions for editing projects, or feel free to fill out the 4-H Project Drop/Add form and we’ll get your project updated.

Please make sure that you are in the project and unit you think you are in. This will be the project that is eligible to be entered in the Pueblo County Fair. You will also need to complete the project this year if you plan to take it next year.

You can now either purchase project manuals directly from the publisher, or you can download project manuals in .pdf form from the website.  For complete details, check out our Project Manuals Page. You do not need to order manuals every year unless the manuals have been updated or the project exhibit requires pages from the Project Manual.

If the manual is published by Colorado State University, it will be on the website as a downloadable .pdf. If the manual is published by any other institution, you’ll need to purchase it. Details can be found on the Project Manuals Page.

You can find project information including e-records and tips sheets at Colorado State 4-H Project Information. For questions, contact Jen Loewen.

Cloverbud Camp: A Pirate's Life 4 Me:

Yo Ho Ho and Shiver Me Timbers!

We will be hosting our inaugural countywide Cloverbud Camp: A Pirate's Life 4 Me. This event will be held in the Dining Hall of the Colorado State Fairground on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

There will be workshops focusing on current 4-H projects, games, dancing, and a community service opportunity. Lunch will be served. Best of all, it's FREE to the first 30 enrolled Cloverbuds that sign up on 4HOnline

In addition to our tiny mateys, we need a crew to run this crazy ship! If ye be willing and able to volunteer, please contact Brenda Johnston.
Yarn Fest 2022:

The High Plains Shooters 4-H Club has a Community Service opportunity and they are inviting all 4-H members to participate. They will crochet, knit, loom, and/or assemble hats, earwarmers, and scarves for the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Pueblo, CO. You don't need any previous experience with yarn work; there will be experienced leaders happy to help newcomers.

For questions or more information, please contact Joslyn Rafferty-Cammer or Emma Rafferty at 719-248-5841 or by email
