Good Morning Henrico Dems. Today is Friday, January 6th, 2023. Today is also the first day of early voting for the VA04 special election! Come help us celebrate Democracy with our fantastic nominee, Jennifer McClellan, at the Eastern Henrico Govt. Center at 11.15am today!

We will be showing her our support and helping to kick off the early voting period which begins today! If you're in the area please swing by and Hi (and pop in and vote if you're a CD04 resident!). Looking forward to seeing y'all!

Happy New Year Henrico Dems!

Come join us next Monday night in the Boardroom at the government center for our first meeting of 2023. We'll have a chance to chat to our Democratic candidate for VA04, Jennifer McClellan. After a whirlwind Firehouse Primary last month, she won with a massive 85% of the vote!

Democrats across VA have our work cut out for us in 2023, and we are energized by each opportunity to take back our majority in the House of Delegates; expand our brick wall in the Senate; and send Senator McClellan to Congress as the first Black woman in history from the Virginia delegation.

Stick it in your calendar and we'll see you there.

Early voting starts today, Friday, January 6th. The early voting location for almost all of the localities is the local Registrar or the locality office of elections.

For Henrico County voters, you will be able to vote at either the Eastern or Western Henrico County Government Center.

The McClellan Team have volunteer events on their Mobilize page here , and keep an eye out for volunteer Zoom meetings. Events include canvass launches, phone banks to support our fellow democrats in the January 10th special elections in SD7, HD35, and HD24, AND they'll be launching a distributed canvassing program!
If YOU would like to host a fundraising event or a canvass launch, let the team know and they'll make it happen!
Our students are organizing! They have 4 four-year institutions and 4 Virginia Community College System schools all in the 4th District. Support our students organizing by following Students for McClellan here .
This list is by no means comprehensive, but it should offer an initial way forward as we Get Out the Early Vote.
