Aikido is a Japanese martial art anyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience, can enjoy and benefit from. Develop a healthy body and mind, while studying traditional Japanese manners and customs.

Students can start any time. Classes are ongoing. Beginners are always welcome.

Judo　柔道

Children (8-12): Wed & Fri, 6:30PM - 7:30PM | Adults (13+): Wed & Fri, 7:30PM - 9:30PM

Join our judo club to learn self-defence and participate in tournaments, all while having fun. Separate classes for children and adults.

Iaido　居合道

Tuesdays 7-9PM

As a martial art, Iaido is a practice which focus on solo forms/katas. Both physical and mental aspects are polished through precision cuts and self-discipline, with a stronger lean towards the mental aspect as compared to some other martial arts such as Kendo.

At Nikkei Centre, students will practice the modern standard sets, or Seitei Iai. Classes will be led by 4^th and higher dan instructors, and all gradings will be registered with the Canadian Kendo Federation and Internationally.

Beginners are always welcome. Iaido is suitable for men and women of all ages and physical conditions, but we regret that we do not teach persons under the age of 16 at this time.
