Dear Neighbors,
You're invited to join our WPENA monthly meeting either in person or via Zoom. We are eager to reconnect in person and stimulate more participation in our meetings. Attendees may enter from the parking lot on South Gilpin Street.

For those unable to meet in person, the meeting will be offered in a hybrid format by following the link below.
Accessory dwelling units, or ADUs, are self-contained, smaller living spaces that are an extension of an existing property. An ADU has its own kitchen, bath and sleeping area, but is not considered a separate property that could be sold on its own.
According to Blueprint Denver the recommended policy is to diversify housing choice through the expansion of accessory dwelling units throughout all residential areas. (Pg 84 Blueprint Denver)
The majority of Washington Park is not zoned for ADUs, however a change in the City’s recommendations allows a resident to request an individual rezoning to allow the construction of an ADU on their property.
WPENA is actively recruiting new volunteers. We have specific needs such as expertise in social media, legal affairs, zoning, city governance, bookkeeping, website design, and fun needs like event volunteers for our 4th of July celebration, happy hours, and the rolling concert. We would love to have you help, get involved, join a committee and more.
