Recently a junior agent said that Buyer’s had changed.  I did not quite agree because in more than 25 years of real estate, I have helped a huge number of Buyers with different needs and goals!  While the methods of searching for properties have changed, Buyers are still quite cautious and want a good deal!  In 2023, I am still educating Buyer’s that virtual tours are great, clicks are fun, and brands like Zillow are marketing firms with questionable data. Having the benefit of your own trusted advisor to help negotiate the best terms and ensuring your closing is essential.   There are some good deals out there so let’s get into the car and see some properties.

MORTGAGE UPDATE: 1/8/2022

The Fed has been steadfast in their mission to combat inflation with rate hikes. They will continue this well into 2023 if not for the entirety of the year. Interest rates, although not directly impacted by the Fed’s rate hikes have relieved some pressures on Friday and moved downward, albeit slightly. The forecast is for more up and down signs of rates. If you are looking to buy, remember despite higher rates today, you can always refinance at a future date when rates are far more favorable.
