Become accredited this New Year! The accreditation renewal process has been simplified for the 2022/23 season and is officially open for you and your club to continue committing to be one of the best places to play and enjoy football in Greater Manchester.

Manchester FA Youth Leadership Programme is now open for applications for 50 young people aged 14-24 to develop themselves and maximise their leadership potential.
During the day they will experience a wide range of footballing roles and gain an insight into how they can be positive role models to better the grassroots game in Greater Manchester. Our Aim is to bring young people together to develop themselves, learn how to develop others and then go back to their communities equipped to enact positive change in their local borough.

MFA Funding Workshops
In partnership with the Grounds Management Association (GMA), Manchester FA will be hosting two funding workshops for local clubs, leagues, and organisations to come along and learn more about the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund including the aim of the fund, eligibility, how much money is available, what the money can be spent on, and how to apply.

We are holding an evening with Premier League and recently appointed Assistant Referee for the FIFA Women's World Cup, Natalie Aspinall.

We are launching a Female Coaching Network and will be holding a Networking session on Tuesday 17th January 6:30-8:30pm at Curzon Ashton Football Club. The evening will be hosted by our Coaching Champion and UEFA B Coach Holly Espie. There will be time for networking, updates on further opportunities around coaching and CPD using one of the Curzon Ashton girls teams. All of our female coaches are welcome to attend and we would like to extend the invite to females that have completed the EE Playmaker or would like to get into coaching.

We’re looking for players who are eligible to represent England, who are born between 2006 and 2010 playing in all formats of the game, including small-sided, recreational, girls, mixed, affiliated and un-affiliated football - remember Talent is Everywhere!

Weetabix Wildcats & Squad Girls Applications are opening in January!
Open from 16th January-28th February 2023
Weetabix Wildcats it’s non-competitive football for girls aged 5-11 who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
Squad Girls are for girls aged 12-14 and keen to kickstart or continue their football journey. A fun, non-competitive way to play football locally with friends, old and new. Whether girls are new to the sport, or looking to transition from Weetabix Wildcats Squad Girls sessions are designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.
