We are looking for a Practice Area Lead in our Mineral Sector Governance team. The successful candidate in this role will work with bilateral and multilateral development agencies, governments in producer countries, industry initiatives, and local and international civil society organisations to design and implement projects and programmes that promote better governance, working practices and innovation in upstream mineral supply chains.

- A proven business development track record; having secured long-term projects and programmes with a range of public funders through tender processes and strong personal networks.
- Strong understanding of how public funders work; in particular how to engage with and influence policy processes, how policy priorities are translated into programmes, and how to effectively track opportunities through dedicated platforms and networks.
- Strong project & programme design experience, having led small teams to build successful concepts and proposals in ways that make the most of diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Solid project/programme management and oversight experience, ensuring delivery in line with client expectations and tight budgets.
- Team leadership experience, ideally involving team members working in multiple locations.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect effectively with a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
