Dear Friends,

The 2023 legislative session begins on Wednesday, and I am honored to be serving you for my second term. There is information that I want to pass on that can help you to follow us and participate in your state government, but I also need to make one final ask. For the 90 days of session, I cannot take campaign contributions, and in the meantime, my team will be continuing with constituent services and supporting our local community. If you have been thinking about contributing to our effort, we could really use your help. After tomorrow night, we will not be able to take contributions again until mid-April.

Thank you to all who joined us this past Thursday for our Pre-Session Town Hall. If you were unable to tune in, please watch the recording below.

Finally, many of you have been asking about what avenues will be available for citizens to testify on bills this year. It was just announced today that committees in both the House and the Senate will be hearing testimony on bills both virtually and in-person. Stay tuned to the committee page of the MGA website for committee-specific testimony guidelines for 2023. These should all be posted in the coming days.

We will resume our weekly updates from Annapolis starting this weekend. Stay tuned!
Respectfully,
Brian
