2023 Citizen's Academy

Have you wanted to get more involved in your local government? Always wanted to learn about how things run and work in your community? Bellevue Citizen's Academy offers an opportunity for Village residents and representatives from area businesses to learn about local government and its various operations. The academy's goals are to provide an educational experience for participants and offer an opportunity to ask questions and present ideas. Participants will attend one evening per night over six weeks; sessions last approximately an hour and a half. Village staff facilitates the sessions and provides in-depth information on law enforcement, fire protection, public works, budget/finance, community development and parks, recreation & forestry.
Ages: 16+ (any age w/adult)
Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Dates: March 2; March 9; March 16; March 30; April 6; April 13; and graduation on April 26 (5:30 p.m. start)
Cost: FREE
