GOD WILL TURN IT FOR GOOD
(12/29/22)
Article by Joni Ames

Dear Friends,

I’ve been going through an end of the year time of reflection. I’ve been through some really crazy stuff in my life.

One time I was the home group leader for several home group leaders. I would train them to do their home groups. In the groups I held, we were having miracles. So much so that it was being testified about in church. The pastors got angry and jealous accused me of being a Jezebel who was trying to steal the church because of the miracles happening in our group.  That was crazy because I was just a single mom and secretary, trying to do my best in my little church I belong to and loved. My kids and I left there, and God catapulted me into leadership in a large church that I loved.

Another time I had a church job I really loved and would have stayed at for the rest of my life. But my “boss“ came against me and literally told me he hated me and thought many times about murdering me and he didn’t know why. I had been being offered another job, so I quickly took it.

After I left that church, which I so dearly loved, the elders called me and told me that my boss had accused me to them and the staff of going after him sexually. They wanted me to know that they believed in me and asked me what really happened and why I really left. I explained that I had been reading a book called “A Tale of Three Kings.“ It caused me to make the decision to just move on and not come against that person.  Therefore I could not tell them. But I thanked them with all of my heart for believing in me because what was being said was not true.

It sent my life in a brand new direction which led me into my own ministry within two years.

But first, at another church, I headed up a women’s ministry, and two women who never attended our women’s meetings went to the pastor, and told him that what I was doing was old fashioned and religious and detrimental and they caused him to believe them, and I was released from doing that. I was very hurt. The truth was that what we were doing was so effective that women were coming from other states when they heard that our church would have our ladies meeting. It was flourishing. But God told me to let that small group go and he would give me the nation. I ended up holding women’s conferences where 1600 to 1800 women would come. Not only that, but taking teams of 20 to 25 women on the road with me all over the country.

I’m telling you these things because I want you to know that what Satan means for evil God will turn for good in your life as well. He will not be out done.

Just know that whatever occurs, God sees, and God will redeem the situation for you beyond your wildest imagination.

The best IS yet to come!

Blessings & Love in Jesus,
Joni Ames
