We give thanks to God for the many opportunities to worship, connect, grow, and act together this year. The love of God is flowing at St. John's. Here are a few favorite memories from 2022:

Year-End Donations
As we approach the end of 2022, we welcome you to consider an end-of-year gift to St. John’s. This has been a year of building on the firm foundation of God’s grace, and our congregation has fully launched back into in-person ministry. Your end-of-year donation will offer our church family a solid financial footing for the continuation of ministry at St. John’s in the years to come.
Please note that if you’d like your gift to qualify as a 2022 donation, it needs to be postmarked, hand delivered, or submitted electronically by December 31st. Checks dated in 2022 but postmarked or hand-delivered in 2023 will be counted as 2023 donations.
As you consider an end-of-year contribution, please keep in mind that RMD distributions and stock gifts are welcome options for giving. These must also be made by December 31 to qualify as a 2022 donation. If you have already met your RMD for 2022, we encourage you to consider this option for your 2023 giving.
Finally, if you are prepaying your 2023 pledge/donation, please make a note of this when you submit your gift. Donations submitted on or before December 31st that are indicated as being for 2023 will be recorded on your 2022 giving statement but recognized in St. John's 2023 financial reporting.

Bible Study Resumes Next Week
Tuesday Bible Study will resume this Tuesday, January 3, at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited to join us for prayer, study, reflection, and connection.
“Have A Heart” Valentine Benefit Luncheon for Holy Family
The Women of Trinity Lutheran Church cordially invite the Women of St. John's Lutheran Church to join them for a Holy Family Benefit Luncheon on Saturday, February 11 at 11:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3637 Golf Road, Evanston. Please make your reservation by Sunday, February 5 by signing up in the gathering area or contacting Cindi Rachowicz by phone at 224-307-3513 or email (att41623@sbcglobal.net). Let's show our support with a table for 8. All proceeds will fund the annual tuition for a child at Holy Family School.
