The last few days of the year have always been a special time for me. It is a time to reflect on the ending year while looking ahead to the challenges and promise of the new year before us.
In reviewing 2022, I am grateful that EPI had the support necessary to accomplish all that we did during the year, including:
Providing solid research showing that corporate profits have contributed disproportionately to inflation.This research came at a time when many in government and the media were blaming inflation on rising wages and government spending.
Reporting on how banning or limiting access to abortion disproportionately harms Black and Hispanic women.
Detailing the ways the pandemic exacerbated the long-standing teacher shortage.
These are just few examples of the work that support from friends like you made possible in 2022.
