Dear and faithful Friends,
As we approach the end of the year, we want to say thank you for being amazing supporters of Arlington Bridge Builders throughout the pandemic. On behalf of the Board, we want to wish everyone a blessed, healthy and Happy New Year 2023!
As you plan your year-end giving, we invite you to consider a special donation in GIVING HOPE to the 30,000 people in Arlington living in extreme poverty.
Your giving this year has helped us continue our mission to GIVE HOPE for those in need through food, education, training, financial aid and ministry support. While we serve more than 1,200 people each month, during this Christmas period we’ve been able to do so much more with your help. We provided 50 new coats for kids, $500 worth of $20 grocery cards, two cases of rapid COVID tests, children books, and small toys just during December. In addition, at our holiday 'turkey on the bun' family gathering in late November, we distributed more than 80 gift bags (with gloves, socks, stuffed animals and candy) to families. This is all thanks to the many donations we received making Christmas just a little easier for many.
One story is Maribel. Her family is struggling to deal with her husband’s brain cancer. Maribel is an excellent cook, and we have helped her secure several catering jobs to help reduce the pile of medical bills. She accesses our food pantry, but gives back through hard work and a positive attitude. Your gifts help us help all the Maribels hit by life’s curve balls.
Thank you again for your faithful support of Arlington Bridge Builders. Our mission is to transform lives by empowering people. We are deeply encouraged and eager to see God's continued work in the new upcoming year 2023.
