Letter from WCFR President Jacqueline Cassagnol

▣ December 2022

Dear WCFR Supporters,

We are appreciative for your ongoing support and we wanted to express our gratitude this holiday season.

WCFR celebrated 11 years of “Teaching People, Saving Lives” this year. We have trained and educated over 425,000 community members in critical lifesaving skills. But, we would not have been able to achieve our goals every year without the help of supporters like you. Special thanks to Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce for honoring our Advisory Board Member, Sabrina HoSang Jordan and fundraising $14,000 for WCFR.

Our work continues in 2023. With your help, we will be able to:

  • provide health education, CPR, and disaster preparedness training in Haiti and the USA.
  • provide scholarships to college students pursuing a healthcare profession in Haiti and the USA.
  • create educational materials and videos such as: “Be a Lifesaver: Learn about COVID-19”, “COVID-19 and Your Heart: Learn how COVID-19 affects your heart", and “Follow these steps to watch your hands the right way” reaching over 42,000 community members.
  • distribute bikes in the USA as part of our “WCFR Bikes for Kids” project sponsored by Waste Connections, Inc.
We are grateful for all of our supporters such as yourself for being there as a pillar in our work. We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season.
With warmest regards,
Jacqueline Cassagnol, MSN, RN, PMC

It has been very exciting working with colleagues, friends, volunteers, partners, donors, and thought leaders to meet our mission. Although, we are currently focused on the U.S. and Haiti, our long term goal is to cover the entire globe. This is only our beginning.
