HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM CAA!!

Thank you to all our CAA Members who voted for the election of our officers this year. Congratulations to our new officers – Catherine Hensiek as President and Sharon Petersen as Vice-President. Liz Roberts will step in as Secretary and John Nakanishi will be the Treasurer.

In addition to our officers, Deena Sheranko will be taking over as our Communications Chair, a very important role overseeing publicity and social media. Laurie Mansur will continue to edit and produce our monthly newsletter.

And here are the rest of your CAA Board Members for 2023:

Patti St. Denis
Michele Browne
Lisa McElroy
Renaye Johnson
Pat McDermont
Pat Calabro

Besides these board members, CAA continues to seek volunteers to serve on committees and help out with CAA events. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the board at Concordartassociation@yahoo.com.

CAA JOINS FESTIVE EVENT AT
MAYOR'S TREE LIGHTING

Once again this year, CAA participated in the City of Concord Mayor’s Tree Lighting Event at Todos Santos Plaza by the City of Concord on December 2nd. CAA helped kids of all ages create ornaments using stamps, stickers, crayons and markers on pre-made ornament frames. We also had a large number of coloring pages available. Thank you to all the CAA members who came to our November members meeting at the Concord Library and helped us prepare over 300 of these ornament frames--every one was used! Also a big thank you to Laurie Mansur and Sharon Petersen for chairing this event, and the following volunteers who showed up to help: Michele Browne, Karen Giorgianni, Thea Jue, Dave Kwinter, Pat McDermont, John Nakanishi, Liz Roberts, and Lori Rutledge. Well done! Everyone had a good time this year.

IT WAS A GRAND FIESTA!
CAA HOLIDAY PARTY
A great time was had by all who attended our End of Year party at Guadalajara Grill in Concord!

Renaye Johnson, Liz Roberts and Sharon Petersen planned the perfect way to celebrate another successful CAA year with fabulous food, marvelous margaritas, great gifts, and yummy chocolates in their own hand made presentation boxes!

We hope you will join us in 2023! Maybe you’d even like to help plan it?!
NEW! CLASSES NOW FEATURED ON THE CAA WEBSITE
