On January 10, join us as we reopen 144 Montague St for regular business hours (Tues–Sat, 11 AM–6 PM) and begin offering new drop-in classes in eight-week series! In-person classes will be led by new teachers Isabella DeSendi, Seth Leeper and Ramya Ramana and returning faculty Danielle Gasparro, Jessica Greenbaum, Jason Koo, Anthony Thomas Lombardi and Taylor Mali. We'll also be offering two online options for the first time: Rosebud Ben-Oni's Space Songs & Planetary Poetics and Starr Davis's Parenting Through Poetry.

In our hour-long drop-in classes, teachers guide students through generative writing exercises and/or discussions of poems using different model poems, lessons and prompts each session. Weekly sessions focus around different forms, themes and approaches to reading and writing poetry. Sharing of work by participants is encouraged but optional. Note that drop-in classes are not a forum for critique of work; students looking for critique should register for multi-week workshops.
