End-of-year Contributions
2022 contributions can be made anytime through January 5. Make sure you designate them for the 2022 calendar year. If you come to the church while the office is closed, please drop them in the black mailbox.
De-Hanging of the Greens this Saturday at 9 AM
We greatly appreciate anyone available to help us remove and store our Christmas decorations this Saturday at 9 AM.
Want to Know How to Serve our Community Better?
On January 11 at 5 PM, you are invited to attend a Zoom meeting where we will receive qualitative research from our Conference about the city of Pleasant Grove. The research is called "Mosaics". In practice, they are little short stories of the people around the church. They give insight into how the church can better reach its community. Mosaics gives information about their preferred leadership style, hospitality, type of worship, and outreaches they care about. It also includes educational, small group, financial, and communication preferences. (Zoom link will be posted in upcoming newsletter email.)
New Year, New Study!
Beginning Monday, January 23, from 7 to 8 p.m, all are invited to a new study. The book (Me and My Big Mouth by Joyce Meyer) is available on Kindle, etc. for about $7.99; soft cover is about $10.99 - $15 (depending on where it is purchased). With God’s help we can learn to master our mouth. Let Susie Travis know if you are interested (205-540-1571) The book is helpful but not absolutely needed. But you will need your Bible.
Prayer List a blank slate for the new year
We collected a good bit of prayer concerns in 2022, many of which have thankfully been answered. The list will be cleared for 2023; please let Virginia or Matt know of any prayer concerns that need to be added or re-added for the new year.
