As we begin planting the seeds towards an even more fruitful year in 2023 at Custom Collaborative, I would like to thank you for your continued support and faith in the work we are doing towards building a more sustainable and equitable future in fashion.

The call for us to be in this fight is at once ongoing but also urgent. The fast fashion industry contributes to an estimated 10% of carbon emissions worldwide while 85% of textiles go to dumps each year.

We have found ways to fight these systems by building the next generation of sustainable fashion leaders with communities who need the most representation and support in the industry. From our Training Institute that provides 15 weeks of vital educational resources to our Business Incubator that gives professional opportunities to our ever-expanding graduate pool, we are seeing in real time what our sustainable future can and should look like.

I was nervous when the team said that we could raise $50,000 through our year-end campaign in order to serve more women. That was twice our prior year-end goal! But, we made it 99 percent of the way there by December 31, 2022! Thank you for helping us exceed our wildest expectations.
