January is going to be very action packed!

We have Shakespeare Auditions in the middle of it, as well as an exciting trip for many to NYC!

Please read the information in this email carefully as there are links for tickets which are going fast for THE PROM, links for DINNER SIGN UPS (for THE PROM and upcoming for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF)

We have another exciting theatre event this Friday at 6pm featuring some directing pieces for stage and screen led by C’ville Players students! Should be a very fun filled evening!

Rehearsals continue to be absolutely amazing! This past week we started BLOCKING!

1/4 WEDNESDAY (ALL CALLED) DANCE!!! WITH CORY! VERY EXCITING! PLEASE BRING DANCE CLOTHES

SCENIC BREAKDOWN (YOUR KEY TO KNOW IF YOU ARE NEEDED) CAN BE FOUND HERE:

There is a 6:30 PM bus that can take students home from school on all other rehearsal days.

NOTE: Off Book Day will be Jan 22 (The Sunday after your week off due to the PROM)

NOTE: We have a busy next couple of weeks and a schedule we need to REALLY stick to. PLEASE let me know if you have any conflicts so that we can make plans accordingly.

Interested in competing in the annual Shakespeare competition? Last year, Charlottesville High School Theatre was recognized nationally by Roxie Beebe-Center having won 2nd place in the country! See more about it here

UPCOMING TECH WEEKS AND HELP WITH CONCESSIONS.

Caroline Heins our incredibly generous volunteer booster parent has created a sign up link for each upcoming show below:

Here are two important singups that should be circulated to the cast and crew (The Prom and Fiddler on the Roof) -- Parents, students, friends, please make sure to help with passing these links along to anyone who may be involved in either of these upcoming productions so that there is enough support for large dinners.

We are asking for monetary donations as well as volunteer support and have links to our paypal. If you cannot provide time (and we realize how busy everyone is) we ask if you can contribute to the food fund. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We also need 4 volunteers (two adults and two kids) for the women's basketball concessions on January 20th (same night as opening of Prom).
