Community Development Team

Community Development Program Quarterly Calls

The Community Development Program quarterly calls have been scheduled! The first will be 28 March, 14:00 and 23:00 UTC. Find dates and times and visit our Etherpad to sign up to attend.

Director of Community Office Hours

The Director of Community is hosting office hours this year where you can bring your questions or provide feedback. The times will be:

• Every second Monday of each month at 20:00 UTC

• Every third Monday of each month at 16:00 UTC

• Every fourth Thursday of each month at 0:00 UTC

Each month will have a theme or primary topic of discussion, but you are welcome to bring any topic of interest to the calls. The topic for January will be community recognition and appreciation as the Community Development Team starts to develop a more formal plan on how we recognize and show appreciation for all our community's contributions. Remaining dates/times for January include:

• 16 January at 16:00 UTC (find your local time)

• 26 January at 0:00 UTC (find your local time)

Curriculum Team

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Carpentries will transition to a more accessible lesson infrastructure in May 2023. Learn about The Workbench and details of the transition in this 2-minute video.

Happy New Year Instructors! The Workshop Administration Team is excited about what will be happening this year. This year we will be intentional about engaging with the Instructor Community. Please stay tuned for updates and events that will take place specifically for The Carpentries Instructors.
