Plan Now for SkillsUSA Week

Start planning now for SkillsUSA Week. The annual celebration is Feb. 6-10, 2023, and you can participate in many ways: Honor your community supporters, connect with local business and industry professionals, or make a presentation about your CTE program and SkillsUSA chapter. We encourage you to follow the daily schedule of events for local chapters nationwide.
  • Monday, Feb. 6, Recognize and honor members, advisors, administrators, business partners, community leaders and supporters who make a meaningful impact on your CTE program and SkillsUSA chapter.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 7, Give Back Day. Rally around your school or community by focusing on ways for your chapter to give back.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 8, Partner Day. Invite local business and industry leaders to connect with members, highlighting the importance of career-readiness skills and the SkillsUSA Framework.
  • Thursday, Feb. 9, Advocacy Day. Amplify CTE in your community by conducting a local public relations activity such as presenting to school board members, administrators and community leaders.
  • Friday, Feb. 10, SkillsUSA Day. Celebrate SkillsUSA by wearing your favorite SkillsUSA T-shirt, hold a celebration activity or by post SkillsUSA Framework stories on social media using the hashtag: #SkillsUSAWeek.
Download the SkillsUSA Week Chapter Guide to help your chapter plan activities.

New SkillsUSA MASTER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Now Available

This is Pretty Cool!
Students can now apply for multiple SkillsUSA scholarships by completing a single SkillsUSA Master Scholarship application. Eligibility criteria for each scholarship is noted on the application so that students know which scholarships they may be eligible to receive.
The SkillsUSA master scholarship is now open until April 1, 2023, and is available here. For more SkillsUSA scholarship resources, including a guide on how to submit a quality application, visit the scholarships page on the SkillsUSA website. If you have questions, contact Megan Flinn.

Framework Integration ToolKit: Essential Elements Definitions and Behaviors

The SkillsUSA Framework Integration Toolkit has everything you need to ensure career readiness in your classroom, training program and chapter. Each Essential Element under the three components of Personal Skills, Workplace Skills and Technical Skills Grounded in Academics is defined, including the behaviors associated with that Element. By talking with your students about the Essential Elements of the Framework, they’ll begin to develop a language to talk about the skills they are learning. Professional members can access the Toolkit in SkillsUSA Absorb
