Equity survey starts this month
Starting January 9, students (grades 6-12) and staff will be asked to complete an equity survey. The survey will ask students and staff how equity work looks and feels in our schools.
Your student is automatically opted-in to participate in the survey. You can read the survey questions beforehand, and if you would like to opt your student out, please fill out the opt-out form by Sunday, Jan. 8.

Important upcoming high school dates
Winter is here, and spring is just around the corner (we hope!) With spring comes a few important dates for SAVHS students.
- SAVHS graduation will be at the high school on Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m.
- SAVHS Prom will be at the Silverwood Park Great Hall on Friday, May 26 at 7 p.m.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Preschool Open House
Come learn about how ECFE classes and preschool can help support your child's growth and learning! The ECFE and Preschool Open House will be on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9-11 a.m. at St. Anthony Community Services on 3301 Silver Lake Road.

We want to hear from you! The district is hosting a series of Coffee and Chat events, where Superintendent Dr. Renee Corneille and a member of the school board will give the community a space to chat about anything district-related. We’ll provide the coffee, you provide the conversation!
