Valley Christian Music & Arts Classes
We invite your family to join the new Valley Christian Music & Arts program starting up in January! Registration for the spring session will be at the Sedro Woolley Inspire Church on January 5. VCMA is a non-profit program that seeks to offer affordable Christian music & arts classes for children & teens, with various choir, band, strings & drama classes. Memorial Service for Cora Steinhauer 2pm
Cora Steinhauer, wife of Curtis Steinhauer, passed away in December suddenly. Cora worked tirelessly with our Community Services and Welcome Home Coop (a NPO born out of our Cold Weather Shelter we hosted for several years) to bring hope and restoration to our homeless/unsheltered friends here in Mount Vernon. Cora had a servant's heart and will be missed.
Please keep Curtis in your prayers and join us in remembering her. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Welcome Home Skagit in honor of Cora.

Adventist Possibility Ministry Training
We are surrounded by people who have possibilities. Come learn from Larry R Evans, a recently retired General Conference leader and possibility champion, about how you can be a blessing to people with possibilities, whether Deaf/hard of hearing, blind/low vision, those physically and/or mentally challenged, orphans/vulnerable children, caregiver support, and those who have experienced spousal loss. A free training weekend will be held January 27-28 at Puyallup Adventist Church.

Coat and WOOL Socks Drive! Ongoing Thru Winter
Please bring new or gently used ADULT coats (all sizes) and NEW WOOL Socks to the church for our Community Services team to distribute to the homeless, working also with Community Action's Street Outreach team.

Pastor Don has our message this Sabbath titled "Worship and the Little Horn". Daniel declares in the midst of the prophecy that the essential reality is Worship. Daniel, his three friends, Nebuchadnezzar and all the kings and their wisemen, were confronted with worship. Will I be faithful or will I be wanting? In Chapters 7 and 8 a new entity arises, a "Little Horn" that opposes God and faithful worship, but instead wants to be worshiped. This entity shows up at the end of time (Revelation 13) and once again God's faithful are asked to Worship the Creator rather than man's constructs. Join us this Sabbath in person or online via our livestream on YouTube or Facebook or directly on our Homepage.
