Hi Everyone,

Overcast conditions for Week 2 of the 2023 Spoken Cycles Summer Series with 110 riders signing on. Congratulations to everyone's favourite Scotsman, Mark Stewart, who took out a closely contested A Grade sprint from Alex Heaney in a  time of 42.43 mins over two laps of the Puahue circuit.

Please find the results attached and points will be updated on our website in the next few days - thankfully Nathan will be back with electronic timing next week!

A big thank you to the parents who assisted Brian with the U15 programme and to our lead car driver, Colin Clifton.

A reminder that 2023 Licences are now due and you can get yourself sorted by heading to the CNZ website -  https://www.cyclingnewzealand.nz/clubs-and-membership/becoming-a-member-2/
There are several options available so please read the information carefully and select the option which best suits your needs.

Congratulations to riders who competed in the National Criterium Champs with special mention going to medal winners, Ally (Gold), Bryony (Silver), and Maui (Gold)!  We wish out trackies all the best for this weekend's combined Auckland / Waikato BoP Track Champs - going to be a full-on weekend of racing.

We wish Club President, Marc Gascoigne, safe travel when he flies out to the UK tomorrow to help launch FarmStrong to support Scottish farmers - looking forward to hearing all about it, Marc!

Have a great week and a wonderful long weekend - and we'll see you down at the shed on Armstrong Ave in TA on Tuesday as we're back using the Kakepuku circuit

Regards
Melinda
