Mental Health First Aid Certification Opportunity

February 3 • 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Student Center (H202)

Mental Health First Aid, a skills-based training course, focuses on mental health, substance-use issues, and ways to help a person experiencing a mental health crisis. Space is limited to 30 participants. Visit mentalhealthfirstaid.org or contact counselingandwellness@frederick.edu to learn more.

Courageous Conversations: Policing

Our goal is to have productive conversations about difficult topics. With a focus on law enforcement, victim's advocates, mental health professionals, and independent investigators among others, discussions include reactions in crisis situations, open dialogue, Q&A session, and more.
