While it seems like lightyears ago, I did enjoy slowing down over the holiday season, connecting to nature, and taking the time to appreciate all that we accomplished in 2022. And — of course — I also couldn’t help but get excited for everything we have planned for 2023.

I invite you to join us as we continue to expand our offerings and increase the number of students, families, and teachers we can serve.

  • For $5/month you provide essential learning materials like journals, pencils, books, and clipboards for one child.

  • Your $20/month donation supports our sliding-scale offerings to allow all children — regardless of ability to pay — to get the reading and writing support they need.

Find the level of support that works for your budget.

Thank you for being here with us through another year of ups and downs. For continuing to support students, teachers, and families. And for being part of our learning community.

With gratitude,

In case you missed it...

Check out our 2022 Year End Report. We provided over 1000 hours of intensive literacy support services for students and reached over 100 teachers with professional development. We could not be prouder of our little team!

Community of Practice:
A New
Way to Connect

Just as a forest ecosystem thrives on biodiversity, the domain of literacy teaching and learning is filled with specialists, practitioners, researchers and students who occupy many important roles. For this ecosystem to thrive, we need spaces to collaborate with one another, offer support and solutions, and build from the unique strengths and perspectives each of us has to offer.

This is why we’ve decided to create a Community of Practice. We hope this community will bring together folks working across disciplines in the literacy learning community and provide a space for us to share perspectives, co-construct knowledge, and build new opportunities for collaboration.

If you’re interested in joining this new community, please take a moment to fill out our interest form and tell us a bit about yourself!
