Who is Eligible?
The nominee must be a full-time, licensed teacher, specialist (coach, librarian, counselor, etc.) or principal who works directly with students. The educator must be employed by a Catholic school within the Archdiocese of Detroit for a minimum of 2 full academic years.
Who can Nominate?
For teachers and specialists: A Catholic school principal or school president (limit one nomination per school).
For principals: School pastor, president, or board member.
How to Nominate?
If you know of an exceptional educator, reach out and encourage your school principal, president and/or pastor to nominate them online. You can preview the nomination questions and the criteria by visiting www.CatholicFoundationMichigan.org/ACE. All nominations must be submitted by through the Catholic Foundation’s online Grants system.
When is the deadline?
The submission deadline has been extended to January 27, 2023.
