Dear MATES Families,

Thank you to all the families that have completed the RETURNING STUDENT FORM! If you have a student that is returning next year, please do so as soon as possible. Please fill out the form (link to online form) to ensure your child has a spot for the next school year. Students are automatically enrolled if you submit the form before the deadline (less than a month away). You need to submit the form every year. The sooner the better!
Attention 5th Grade Families
Please follow the link below to indicate your child's middle school for the 2023-24 school year. They need the numbers to make arrangements for the upcoming visits. Thank you so much!

ALL STUDENTS returning to MATES next year need to submit a Returning Student Form by the end of Open Enrollment on Thursday, February 16, 2023. If you do not submit the form, your children will lose their priority status and they will be added to the bottom of the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.

Our communities in California are experiencing tension and stress due to the recent heavy storms.
 
Recent weather conditions in California have been extremely stressful on our communities. People are likely to be anxious and tense, especially those experiencing mental health problems and those with more significant impairments.
 
The California Department of Health and Human Services (CalHHS) has created the following guide: CalHHS Emergency Resource Guide/Guía de recursos de emergencia del CalHHS.
This guide includes information to help prepare for storm emergencies. In this guide you will find suggestions for preparing a personal emergency plan, how to prepare medical devices that require electricity, and information on available mental, social and health care services.

Please note that MATES pays for each cafeteria meal ordered, and is reimbursed only for meals served. If you order a meal for your child, please make sure that they know to pick it up from the cafeteria to minimize food and financial waste. Thank you for your help.
