140th Annual Diocesan Convention

To assist all delegates in their preparations for Diocesan Convention and to encourage all members of the Diocese to learn a little more about our common life and ministry, we are offering an online pre-Convention orientation meeting on four different days ahead of Convention.

At each online meeting, we will:
  • offer an overview of Convention
  • have a look at the agenda for February 10th and 11th
  • review East Carolina’s mission priorities and some of our progress thus far
  • consider resolutions that have been submitted and nominations that have been made
  • introduce the proposed budget for 2023.
Click the graphic above to learn more, or click here to go to our website.
Convention is coming up next month, and our convention pages are live and will continue to be updated. Click on the image above to visit our main convention page where you will find recent updates listed.
  • Visit our Resolutions page to learn more about submitting a resolution. Resolutions submitted now must be signed by ten delegates from three different congregations and must be submitted by January 27, 2023.
  • Visit our Nominations page to learn more about submitting a nomination and the open positions for nomination. Any member of the diocese can make a nomination, including the nominee themselves. Submit nominations by January 27, 2023.

FEATURED WORKSHOP: DIGITAL MINISTRY IS HERE TO STAY

Each week, we're featuring one of our four workshops at convention with what you can expect to come away with to share with your congregation. This week, we're talking about "Digitial Ministry is Here to Stay" with Rev. Tom Warren. In this workshop, you can expect to learn simple ways you can connect digitally with your congregation and your community.

L = Learn and Listen
