Grade 4/5 Basketball
On Tuesday, the boys and girls team traveled to St. John’s, which was the the boys' first game of the season. The girls scored some great baskets, and defeated the Eagles. The boys improved as the game went on, and lost a close battle 30-33. On Wednesday, both teams faced the strong Mulgrave squad. More great basketball was played, and the boys came within 9 points of a win. Great work, Grizzlies!
POD Basketball
The Grade 6/7 girls team produced 2 more excellent performances and defeated Crofton House 20-10 and Urban Academy 20-16 in a double header played on Wednesday night. Their togetherness and skill continues to shine through as they look to secure a high seeding for their end of season tournament.
The Grade 6/7 boys team had a big day at Southpointe Academy and they left it all out on the court. 15 players working brilliantly together and are playing some impressive basketball. The Grizzlies lost out in the end 31-22, but it really could have been a different story if we were more clinical around the hoop. Great work, Grizzlies!
