PRIDEnet Online Community Listening Sessions

Join the conversation about raising children! PRIDEnet wants to hear from women of trans experience, transfeminine people, transgender women, non-binary or gender expansive people assigned male at birth who are parents OR are interested in parenthood about raising children to guide LGBTQIA+ parenthood research and health care. Participants will answer questions confidentially via an online secure discussion board over 4 days with flexible timing. INPHO: Informing Population Health Opinions
 
Navigating today’s media landscape can be confusing, especially when it comes to topics of public health. Misinformation, contradicting opinions and evolving data make it difficult to understand current health issues. Stanford Center for Population Health Sciences’ new Informed Population Health Opinions (INPHO) project aims to provide clear, unbiased information on today’s most pressing public and population health topics.

Each month, Stanford Population Health Sciences will send a survey to leading epidemiologists, public health and population health experts. This month PHS surveyed experts on the health implications of abortion laws and access. Read more.

PHS is offering two types of grants: 

  • Early career (doctoral students, postdoctoral scholars) pilot grants up to $20,000
  • Faculty pilot grants up to $40,000.

Awards funded through the Spectrum Program will be granted for one year and must be completed within the 12-month award period, July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. All unexpended funds will be forfeited if not spent within the award period. Learn more.
