WHAT'S COMING UP!

MARKET ON MAIN

Flagler Park - 221 S.W. Flagler Ave, Downtown Stuart

Part of Main Street's mission is to strengthen our economy and to bring people into our Downtown.  Since taking over our downtown's market a year and a half ago, we have seen tremendous growth and elevated quality in our vendors. The Market moved to Flagler Park back in 2020 in the heart of Historic Downtown Stuart along the St. Lucie River. No matter the time of year, we hope you remember to continue to SHOP LOCAL by visiting our Market for our extended Winter hours every Sunday, now from 9am till 2pm

Not only will you find handcrafted gifts by talented artists and crafters, but you'll also find fresh produce, meats, farm fresh eggs, cheeses, spices and sauces, breads and other baked goods, house plants, and even a mobile craft bar in partnership with Libations Mobile Catering

OTHER MARKET NEWS
Because we have had such great success with our Kids Market, starting in February we are expanding to having our 'Kids Market' now twice a month on the first and third Sundays of the Month.

We are eagerly seeking professionals in the health and wellness industries to help us expand our programming at the Market. We want to start offering our community free classes each Sunday from 9-10 am prior to our live music starting. This is a pilot program we are testing for the 2023-2024 season. Classes could range from nutrition, to gardening, to yoga and fitness, to even a cooking demo. Questions please email
director@stuartmainstreet.org.

We are still desperately seeking Volunteers at the Market to assist with setup and manning our info booth. We are a small organization that makes a BIG impact but we rely on the support and assistance from our community to achieve that.

Are you a nonprofit organization serving Martin County or the City of Stuart? Join us at the Market to promote your cause or upcoming event. Nonprofits must provide copy of tax-exempt certificate, proof of insurance, and follow the Market's policies and procedures. To apply, email our AMAZING Market Coordinator, Amy at
market@stuartmainstreet.org.

CITY OF STUART NEWS
THIS SATURDAY
West Riverside | Historic Downtown | Krueger West
Neighborhood Cleanup

The City of Stuart will host its Neighborhood Cleanup for West Riverside, Historic Downtown and Krueger West residential neighborhoods this Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
During the cleanup, City of Stuart sanitation trucks comb the streets of these neighborhoods to collect bulk items, such as appliances and furniture, miscellaneous trash, and yard waste that residents place at the curb. There is no fee for the extra pickups during this cleanup.
The Martin County HazMobile will be parked at the host location in the empty lot at Hildabrand Park on Riverside Drive, for the convenient drop-off of household hazardous waste such as paints, oils, and household cleaners. Residents may also bring old electronics for recycling to this same central location.
For a complete listing of acceptable hazardous materials or to find out what month the City will host a Neighborhood Cleanup in your neighborhood, visit
www.cityofstuart.us or call (772) 600-1206.
HAVE YOUR EVENT WITH US!

We have officially celebrated three years of operating the Flagler Center!
In our first year we struggled to get on our feet thanks to COVID-19. But once our Executive Director was hired in August of 2020, a new vision was created and we quickly got to work on making some improvements. HUGE THANKS goes to O'Donnell Impact Windows & Storm Protection, Bayview Construction, Apex Pavers & Pools, Jade Smith and Unearthered Rentals, The Stuart Garden Club, Resurface Specialist, Avid Productions, Brandon Bella Construction, Treasure Coast Multimedia, The Garden Goddess, Get Happy Designs, Keating Creative, The City of Stuart, and Snyder Marketing Solutions & Events for helping us along the way.

"The Flagler" is a charming historic space for any event. Whether it's a baby shower, company meeting, fundraiser, birthday, celebration of life, or a wedding, we host all types of groups and events. The venue features three unique rental spaces, a courtyard, open air covered porches, a well shaded ceremony lawn, and a small prep kitchen.

We host on average 200 events a year and we book fast, so don't wait to start planning!
For availability and to schedule a tour, contact our Venue Coordinator, Stacy Hascup.
