Dear friends,

Join us Saturday, January 28, as we mark the final day of the Real Reality (RR) exhibition. We invite you to participate in a day of hands-on activities, artist talks, a movement performance by artist Geneviève Johnson, a film presentation, and conversations. Continue reading for the full schedule of events and activities.

Visitors who come by CVAG before January 28 will also be able to get creative at the onsite make stations connected to our current installations. Activities include: LEGO/stop-motion animation, felting/spinning, movement/making/stitching, and data art research. The gallery's hub team will be on-hand to support visitors of all ages and abilities.

Following the Real Reality (RR) group exhibition, our gallery space will become an Exhibition/MakeSpace conceptualized by artist Michael Fernandes. This project titled Don't Know, running February 4 to April 1, reconstructs boundaries between gallery and viewer.

As we transition, the public space installation We Don't Know -- part one of Michael Fernandes's project -- can be seen and heard on the gallery's plaza, January 20 to February 3.

The CVAG Film Series continues this winter/spring. Due to the popularity of our last series, this time we are screening each film twice. This means you still have a chance to snag tickets! Continue reading to learn about the film line-up and how to purchase tickets.

CVAG's gallery and curated shop are open 10am - 5pm, Wednesdays to Saturdays.

All exhibitions and activities held at CVAG are free, with donations gratefully accepted.
