Sam & I reflect on 50 years of marriage with gratitude and a little sadness. It goes so fast.

The date of this [B]OLDER episode, Feb. 3, 2023, falls on our 50th wedding anniversary.

We were married a half century ago in 1973, a very different, pre-Internet era.

We were both 21.

Obviously, we were too young to get married. But we did and the marriage has lasted, with ups and downs of course

In this episode we acknowledge how much we have to be grateful for and how lucky we've been.

Sam is still making me laugh.

But there's some sadness too.

I talk about feeling grief as we look back at our youthful passion and how beautiful we were.

Sam reminds me it's okay to feel grief; it's part of life.

One thing that hasn’t changed: we disagree about a lot of things.

That’s all I’ll say.

You'll have to listen to this one for the full scoop.

Listen to Debbie & Sam on 50 years of marriage.
